More notification controls to keep your members engaged
One thing we heard loud and clear while testing our latest round of updates: your community members want more control over what hits their inbox, and you want them to stay engaged without feeling overwhelmed. This update is the first of several improvements coming out of that feedback.
Previously, members could turn post and comment notifications on or off in their notification settings. Now, they can unsubscribe from an entire notification type in one step, directly from their inbox.
At the bottom of any post or comment notification email, members can now unsubscribe from that notification type in one click, or jump to their full settings if they want finer control. The unsubscribe link matches the email; comment emails offer to stop comment notifications, and post emails offer to stop post notifications, so the action is always specific and predictable.
Unsubscribing from comment notifications doesn't touch their post notifications, and vice versa. Members stay in control of exactly what lands in their inbox, without having to visit the notification settings page to make changes.
